This concert brings to life the 132-year history of the organ department of Franz Liszt Academy of Music. The department's teachers and pupils together perform organ works, transcriptions and improvisations by their predecessors and one-time masters. The evening will also shed light on the nature of the so-called Card Table Society, as well as revealing why Aladár Zalánfy, a generally well-respected teacher of the Academy, was regarded as a coat thief....
