Since 2002, the Lutheran Hymns concert series has presented a festival of Hymn books, psalms and prayers for use in the Reformed church sung by a choir of 250 with soloists, organ accompaniment and occasionally improvisation and audience participation. Over the past six years, such well known choirs have sung and will sing this time, as the Debrecen Collegium Kantus, the Imre Palló Choir Pasarét, the Psalterium Hungaricum Choir, the Soli Deo Gloria Choir as well as Lutheran choirs of Upper Hung...ary (Slovakia) and Translyvania (Romania). The choir conductors include Sándor Berkesi, János Arany, Zsófia Cseri, Tamás Bódiss and Péter Hoppál; the six concerts so far – which have led to CD recordings – have included such distinguished organists as János Pálúr, Csilla Alföldy-Boruss, László Draskóczy and László Fassang. The resident vocal soloists are Boglárka Berkesi and István Basky.
