János Nagy: Impressions Four Bones – trombone quartet János Nagy - composer, piano Tamás "Tobzi" Kovács – percussion instruments Orsolya Karafiáth - poem Dávid Merényi, Gergő Nagy - photos - VJ We invite the audience for an audiovisual performance. A world of sounds that has been hidden from most will open up on 21 June in the Palace of Arts. The contemporary piece composed for the Four Bones Quartet is courageous draw that ranges from the traditional sound through jazz to modern im...provisational pop music elements ( e.g. using three-dimensional musical effects in trombone play), creating a complete whole. The Quartet introduces novelties in the sound of trombone play and technical solutions, too. This not-everyday magic is further enchanted by the beautiful voice of Bea Palya, who appears in the production as a singer. The photo montage of photographers Dávid Merényi and Gergely Nagy, adapted to the music makes the musicians' performance even more spectacular. The lyrics of the songs are Orsolya Karafiáth's impressions, which were wrote for music. The Quartet will be accompanied by Tamás 'Tobzi' Kovács on percussion instruments and the composer himself, the excellent jazz pianist János Nagy on the piano.
