The Colorado Symphony Chorus is celebrating its twenty-fifth anniversary in 2009 with a European tour. This mixed choir with 150 members is a deserving partner of many American professional symphony orchestras, is regularly invited to leading festivals, and is resident collaborator with the Colorado Symphony Orchestra. The founding conductor, Duain Wolfe has also led America’s largest professional choir, the Chicago Symphony Chorus, since 1994. He has worked in productions with Daniel Barenboim... and Pierre Boulez and in 1998, directed the chorus in Sir Georg Solti’s recording of Wagner’s Meistersingers, which won a Grammy Award.
