Budapest opera connoisseurs can now enjoy another pair of stars in the production within just a short timeframe. Natalie Dessay is a favourite of many, especially in Donizetti bel canto roles, while her partner, Maltese tenor Joseph Calleja sang in the Palace of Arts in 2007. The two baritones are also seasoned bel canto and Donizetti singers. Ludovic Tézier from France has conquere...d Covent Garden as Belcore, the same role that earned Kwangchul Youn of South Korea international acclaim.
