Their concert in Budapest, which brings the Holland-Flemish CultFest to a close, offers a unique Easter prog...ramme. The composer is the remarkably fecund German composer Georg Philipp Telemann (1681–1767). Before “The Resurrection and Ascension of Jesus” we shall hear “The Ode of Thunder”. It was composed following the devastating 1755 Lisbon earthquake.
