Our visitors can start to enjoy their food and drinks faster at Müpa Budapest from September. Müpa visitors can forget about waiting in line during intermissions because, during performance breaks of concerts at the Béla Bartók National Concert Hall, they may find their refreshments prepped for them based on their advance order. Food and drinks can be pre-ordered and purchased in advance at the Átrium Snack Bar’s special “Pre-order” counter that opens an hour before the performance.

Péter Esterházy’s evening was slated as the premier event of the Literarium Series for the 2016/2017 season, but alas, fate has rewritten our script: we can only commemorate one of the best known and most translated figures in contemporary Hungarian literature in the face of the author’s passing, and thus the Müpa Budapest event had to be changed to a commemorative evening.
The date remains unchanged, the night of recollection will start at 7 PM on 21 November, with the author’s closest friends and literary contemporaries recalling the unmatched diversity of this now concluded oeuvre. Tickets already purchased for the event are valid.
