In 2019, Juan De Marcos & The Afro-Cuban All Stars will arrive with genuine Cuban rhythms, while Barnabás Kelemen and friends will be captivating the audience with works by Bach, Haydn and others at the Early Music Festival. As part of her My Silks series, Bea Palya will be hosting acid jazz and electropop voyager Beady Bell, while the Veronika Harcsa-Bálint Gyémánt Quartet will be rounded out with a Belgian rhythm section, and TAKE 6, the most decorated a cappella ensemble of all time, will also take the stage. Recirquel inviting its audience to a winter tale wonderworld

From 2 December this year, for the third time, Müpa Winter Open Air, with its lights, ice rink and a bunch of special winter programmes, will make its contribution to getting everyone tuned into the Christmas holidays’ festive atmosphere. The Müpa Tent, on the other hand, will await the audience with a new production, a mesmerising winter tale by Recirquel, the world-renowned contamporary circus company.

Nils Frahm’s new record to debut in Müpa, where shows by Yasmin Levy, Monsieur Doumani, Bombino, and Margaret Island are also to be staged

Just a few days after the Icelandic genius Ólafur Arnalds mesmerised his audience in Budapest, we are back with some more great news for the fans of the genre. On 5th February 2019 Nils Frahm, a fellow musician and close friend of Arnalds, is going to give a concert in the Béla Bartók National Concert Hall. Sale of tickets also start for a number of jazz, pop and world music concerts. Müpa will host Yasmin Levy, the Israeli-Spanish singer-songwriter, and Monsieur Doumani, the internationally renowned world music trio from Cyprus. Bombino, the icon who recorded music even with the members of the Rolling Stones and the Black Keys, will stage an eagerly anticipated show in Hungary the first time ever. We will also have Dimitris Mystakidis and the Loxandra Ensemble from Greece. Erik Sumo Band, playing uncategorizable music, and colorStar, amalgamating the various branches of electronic dance music, will return to Müpa after a decade. While the Hungarian indie-pop band, Margaret Island will make its first appearance on the iconic stage of Béla Bartók National Concert Hall. The Crazy about Jazz series will also carry on with special guest stars.

We would like to inform our visitors that on 23 October the Müpa Budapest building and the ticket offices, the Rózsavölgyi CD and Sheet Music Store, the Ethnosound Musical Instrument Store, the Vince Bookshop and the Bohemian Restaurant will be closed.

The Andrássy út ticket office will be closed on 22 October as well.

We would like to inform our visitors on 16 October the Müpa Budapest building and the ticket office will be expecting visitors with changed opening hours.

The ticket office in the building will be open from 6 pm until 7 pm, the Vince Bookshop, the Rózsavölgyi CD and Sheet Music Store, the Ethnosound Musical Instrument Store and the bars will be closed.
