Orff

Carmina Burana

The Let the Country Sing movement celebrates its 40th anniversary this year. Many members of the Let the Country Sing choir have been loyal from the beginning. They were teenagers then but are now passing on the joy of singing to their grandchildren. Gábor Hollerung came to the conclusion that it was time to reach out to those of middle school age, which is how Voices of Future was formed as a place where young people can experience the power of singing together. Thanks also to their dedicated teachers, the interest from young people exceeded all expectations: More than 400 singers representing 13 middle schools signed up. Just as on the first occasion 40 years ago, they will perform Orff’s iconic Carmina Burana.

Carl Orff's Carmina Burana is so popular that we have also opened up the dress rehearsal for the evening's performance to meet the huge demand
