The storyteller on this November morning will be seated in a comfortable armchair, the children will be gathered around him on the floor, as they excitedly wait for the story to begin. They are going to hear a story, which they know well but you can never be bored by a truly good tale, however many times you hear it. Our hero is a young prince who is given the task of liberating a beautiful girl who is held captive by an evil dominion. On his mission, his companion will be a simple bird catcher... and a magic flute, which helps him out when he is in trouble. He does not realise yet that the two of them, just like the princess who is awaiting her freedom, will become pawns in a battle between the Temple of Wisdom and the Dark Kingdom. The two young people soon fall in love but it can only be fulfilled if they withstand tests of their fidelity and constancy... The performances will be followed by creative educational activities at the Ludwig Museum.
