The Müpa Budapest experience continues in summer!

Even during the summer programme break, there is no need for our audience to go without truly refreshing cultural experiences: Müpa Budapest’s media library has been expanded to include seven brand new recordings, allowing our viewers to relive some memorable concerts in front of their screens, including the appearance by Ken-Ichiro Kobayashi and the Hungarian Radio Symphony Orchestra, Rufus Wainwright’s wonderful recital, and marvellous shows featuring Ferenc Snétberger and Zoltán Beck.

A Brief Pause in Ticket Sales

We would like to inform you that, during the summer period, we are conducting maintenance on our IT system and servers. As a result of this, online ticket sales will be temporarily suspended on the mupa.hu website between 26 and 28 July. Afterwards, starting from 29 July, ticket sales will resume via our website in the familiar manner.

Ticket sale for season 2022/23 is now on!

As in previous seasons, 2022/23 at Müpa Budapest has legendary orchestras and the world's best known conductors and soloists in store for viewers. In recent weeks, purchasers have been able to choose from a number of season tickets. However, it is now time to close season ticket sales and instead buy tickets for next season's performances individually.

Müpa Budapest is coming out with the first dance season ticket in its history for the 2022/23 season!

Although dance has always played an important role in life at Müpa Budapest, in recent years many of our visitors have been delighted to see more emphasis placed on the programme offering, allowing fans to choose from more and more performances each year, from contemporary ballet to folk dance.

Bartók Spring countrywide organised by Müpa Budapest: exceptional programme in Miskolc, Győr and Debrecen

Ramón Vargas and the Győr Philharmonic Orchestra, Arturo Sandoval, Maxim Vengerov and the Pannon Philharmonic Orchestra, BANDALOOP, Igudesman & Joo, Sergey Krilov and the Kodály Philharmonic Orchestra Debrecen, the Győr Ballet, the Szeged Contemporary Ballet, the Pécs Ballet and the Hungarian National Dance Ensemble, and the Ritmo Picnic will feature Sena, the Bohemian Betyars, Los Orangutanes, Mónika Lakatos and Romengo, among others, Julcsi Paár, MORDÁI, Mihály Dresch Ballance Trio, Napfonat and Odd ID - from 21 April, the Bartók Spring International Art Weeks organised by Müpa Budapest will continue with more and more exciting concerts and performances, the American pioneers of vertical dance on the walls, free world music events and a lively festival atmosphere all over the country.

No more masks at Müpa Budapest

We wish to inform you that, in accordance with the current legal regulations, the wearing of masks is not longer mandatory in the Müpa Budapest building as of 7 March 2022. We leave it at the discretion of our guests to decide whether they feel comfortable wearing or not wearing a mask. It is not necessary to show an immunity certificate to attend our performances.
