Lights of Budapest switched off from Müpa Budapest

2016. March 17.

On 19 March, Budapest will go dark for one hour commemorating Earth Hour. In support of the initiative of WWF Hungary, Müpa Budapest will be one of the locations hosting events that draw attention to the issues of sustainable development and environmental protection. The two-day series of programmes will feature concerts, children's activities, the KIK CliMates workshop, the WWF Green Generation and the Living Danube Tour. The Hungarian National Philharmonic Orchestra will also be dedicating its evening concert to the Earth Hour, with the concert’s soloist performing the surprise encore in the dark, with only a piano light illuminating the stage.
