Kristóf Bacsó performed in New York

2011. September 16.

Kristóf Bacsó toured the United States with the Szabó Dániel Quintet. The most important stop on the tour was the most prominent jazz club in New York, Jazz Gallery, the stage of which is frequented by such musicians as Steve Coleman, Ravi Coltrane or Lionel Loueke.

At the concert the extremely creative and mature artists of Hungarian jazz – Dániel Szabó (piano), Kristóf Bacsó (wind instruments), Balázs Kántor (cello), József Horváth Barcza (double bass) and András Dés (percussion instruments) – were joined by saxophonist Chris Potter as a soloist.
Kristóf Bacsó is set to perform in Hungary in the company of no less illustrious artists on 25 September in the Festival Theatre of the Palace of Arts, at the next session of the Jazz Workshop series with the Kristóf Bacsó Quartet. As usual, there will be no shortage of world famous stars at the event, featuring Ferenc Németh, one of the most sought-after percussionists of our time, behind the drums.
