Audition for the soloist roles in Händel’s oratorio Alexander’s Feast on 27 June

Palace of Arts will hold an audition for the soprano, alto, tenor and bass soloist roles in Händel’s oratorio Alexander’s Feast on 27 June 2013. A coproduction of the Lithuanian National Opera and Palace of Arts, the piece will premiere in Vilnius in June 2014 and in Budapest in March 2015.

Palace of Arts - Festival Theatre 

Audition pieces:
a baroque aria in English and/or a fragment from the oratorio

Gintautas Kevisas, General Manager of the Lithuanian National Opera
Csaba Káel, General Manager of Palace of Arts
Tamás Bátor, Director of Coproduction, Palace of Arts, opera singer

 

Applications must be submitted to Kinga Tóth (toth.kinga@mupa.hu) along with a photo CV until 25 June 2013. Palace of Arts provides piano accompaniment for the audition but applicants should bring scores.

Age limit for application: 36 years.
