Performers: Barnabás Szabó Sipos, Tünde Bálint, Réka Gulyás, Lili Eszter Pilári, Rackajam (György Ferenczi, Ádám Apáti, Miklós Jankó, Levente Kormos and Zsolt Pintér) György Ferenczi’s favourite writer is Mór Jókai, and his favourite poet Petőfi Sándor. His favourite musician is Jimi Hendrix. György Ferenczi is a multi-faceted musician with his own superb band, Rackajam. Mix these with the Karzat Productions and we get the Petőfi Wandering Theatre which was created under the direction of K...álmán Pál and now tours the country. It cheerfully evokes the mood of a wondering theatrical troop, bringing to life the poet’s life, his verses and thoughts. The poems are performed sometimes as blues, other times in folk music, and sometimes even on mouth organ and violin. The sets are their own, but the creators are aiming for minimalistic solutions. This is a unique theatrical production and some songs are great for helping youngsters learn the poems.
