Danielsson has released ten solo-albums since 1980 with his quartet and guests such as Alex Acuña and John Abercrombie. He has been working with polish miracle pianist Leszek Możdżer in different settings, including Tarantella, his latest solo outing. Their duo release Pasodoble on ACT became platinum. Brussels-born David Linx has over the course of two decades become one of the most outstanding and most individual singers of Europe, apart of being a composer of songs, film and ballet scores. His voice has a vast emotional power, it can be sensuous or light as a feather. He has worked with Diederik Wissels on a permanent basis since 1992, but also toured and recorded with Steve Coleman, Mino Cinelu, Johnny Griffin, Clark Terry and Toots Thielemans, and has also been featured artist with the Brussels Jazz Orchestra. He also recorded beautiful pieces with singers, for instance ‘One heart - three voices’ with Maria Pia De Vito and Fay Claassen. The most prolific Hungarian singer, Gábor Winand was compared to his musical personality more than once. Their joint programme, rehearsed recently in Paris, where Linx has been living for ten years, will be premiered at the festival.
