Boban and the guys now repeat their tremendous concert of last February – for those who would like to see and hear them again and for those who were unlucky enough to miss out. We all know that they are currently the most sought after Serbian brass outfit: thanks to their concerts in clubs, theatres and concert halls, their festival successes, film music and CDs, they are fantastically popular all over Europe. But what is their secret? Let’s just check out the reviews! “These genuine Gypsy King...s turn on a dime effortlessly, their melodies sustained on the air like hovering strings or respiring like a celestial organ. Europe and Asia collide and myths as well as music are thrown skyward by this natural & cultural upheaval.” (Alastair Johnston, www.muzikifan.com) “Some music is for the head, some is for the feet and some is for the heart. The Boban & Marko Marković Orkestar plays music for the whole body.” (Herald Times) This concert will present their great hits of the past decade, including music for the Kusturica films known to half the world Djurdjevdan, Mesecina, Bubamara or Arizona Dreams. And of course, everything will begin and end with Kalashnikov…
