How many children (or former children!) have not heard of the Bremen Town Musicians? These are the heroes of a Grimm fairy story, a donkey, a dog, a cockerel and a cat, who fled their owners to become the Bremen town musicians. On their way they meet brigands, only to scare them to death with their music making. Taking this humorous story as a starting point, Sándor Balogh has written a piece of music which is performed by the brass instruments: the trumpet, horn, trombone and tuba. The Pa...lace of Arts offers lots and lots of concerts all year long for those who find joy in music and listening to live music. We would like to share this joy with children, their parents and grandparents, too. We aim at helping each child find the music most suitable for his or her age. The smallest ones (from the age of 3 to the age of 8) can listen to fairytales accompanied by music at the performances of the series entitled Musical Mornings of the Tiny. There will be occasions, when music complements and colours the tale, and there will also be tales about music. At these concerts, children are not only listeners, but they can often participate in the play, walk up to the musicians and chat with them.
