Tiny ones (older than 6 months but not yet big enough for day care) gathered in the Palace of Arts with their parents and grandparents to learn ditties and melodies from a clean source for the first time in October. The 30-minute workshops of Ilona Gáll-Gróh, popular countrywide, have become such instant favourites here too that occasions have had to be doubled, while three 'rotations' will be able to attend them in the Blue Hall from January on. On 12 December, the Glass Hall waits for the g...uests of Cradler for a session of Christmas singing and ditties. The guest of the now one-and-a-half-hour session will be the mother of Márta Sebestyén, Ilona Farkas-Sebestyén, who learned folk songs and folk singing form the man most suitable, Zoltán Kodály. Her participation increases the prestige of not only the Christmas celebration but also of the commemoration of Zoltán Kodály. The composer/music teacher, who was born 125 years ago and died 40 years ago, was the creator of a worldwide used and recognised teaching method. Attendance is free as usual, however the advanced registration is not necessary for this occasion. The Palace of Arts waits for all guests of Cradler with a scent of Christmas, and with tea and cookies in the first floor Vestibule.
