On Sundays, the Palace of Delights awaits children and their parents interested in handicraft; games of skill, skill development and logic; quizzes and different stage performances. The resident host of the event series is Attila Várkonyi (Dj Dominique). Each program is constructed along the lines of an actual holiday, anniversary or world day. Stage programs and handicraft workshops also follow the given theme. Visitors can get acquainted with the holiday or world day concerned; they can ...try their hands at weaving, felt-making, beading, clay working, puppeteering, and folk dances; and they can play music toogether with the musicians if they would like to - all in a playful form. The series will be expanded with the event entitled Landscapes and Cities. From September 2007, the culture of a Hungarian city or region will be introduced on the last Sunday of each month. Participation is free. *** On stage: 10:00 A welcome by the Palace of Arts, the city of Kecskemét and Bács-Kiskun County 10:10 The concert of singer Zsuzsa Varga, co-host of 'Behind the Beyond Country', and Bács-Kiskun County 10:20 The Legend of St Elisabeth (the joint production of the S.O.S Children's Village Kecskemét and the Hetényegyháza Móricz Zsigmond General Culture Centre) 11.00 The show of the Akrobat Dance Group 11.30 The performance of the Fantasy Dance Klub, Móniak Érsek and her dance group 12.00 The concert of students of the Academy of Music 13.00 The performance of the student theatre ensemble of the Katona József Secondary School, organised by their teacher Edit Orbán 13.30 The performance of the Kis Kurázsi Folk Dance Ensemble, accompanied by the Fabatka band 14.00 The Miraculum Choir of the Kodály Zoltán School sings, conducted by László Durányik 14.30 The show of the Grapevine Dance Group On the Ludwig Terrace (in case of rain: on the Festival Square): 10.10 Rézangyalok Wind Orchestra, Elementary Art School, Kiskunhalas 11.10 Preservationist Folk Dance Group – Kalocsa 12.00 The performance of the folk dance group of the Elementary Art School, directed by Mrs Rita Bedőcs, accompanied by the Fabatka band 12.30 Merry songs and peculiarities - the game of the day care attendants of the Kiskőrös Day Care lead by Mrs Géza Horváth In the Glass Hall: Baby playground 12:30 The Corner of Tales with Mrs Anna Szirtes 13.00 T he puppet play of the day care nurses of the Széchényi Walk Day Care In front of the Glass Hall: radio studio and logic games On the ground floor: handicraft workshops In the ground floor "Ship Buffet": - Exhibition form the award-winning photos of the students of the Katona József Secondary School - The exhibition of the Palace of Delights: works of fine and applied art connected to Kecskemét and Bács-Kiskun County - Kalocsa painting - paintshop - Halas lacework In the first floor vestibule: - Handicraft workshops - Multiplying Machine (graphic reproduction processes with the help of Gyula Gevicser photographer, ceramist, graphic artist, and art teacher)
