This series is run by singing teacher Ilona Gróh Gáll. It is aimed at children from three years old and at mothers who are keen to involve music and movement in the upbringing of their children. “A mother not only gives her body to her child but she builds up its soul from her own”, said Zoltán Kodály. The aim of this series is for parents to recognise that singing and shared games are “spiritual nutrition” for little infants. In the relaxed atmosphere of the activities, the young mothers learn... something about educating their children musically, and they also learn Hungarian folk children’s songs, verses and movement related games. These can then be equally practised at home as well as in the family environment of Dandling.
