Beethoven: Sonata in C-sharp minor (’Moonlight’), Op. 27, No. 2 Ravel: Gaspard of the Night / Ondine Chopin: Ballad in F minor, Op. 52 Musorgsky: Pictures at an Exhibition Kajiyama Miharu was born in Japan. After finishing the Mito Secondary School of Music she gained access to the Piano Department of the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music, to the class of István Lantos. She has won several prizes at piano competitions: Vallentino International Piano Competition (Italy) 2nd Place, Madeleine de... Valmalete International Piano Competition (Paris) 2nd Place, Cittá di Teramo International Piano Competition (Italy) 5th Place. She attended the master courses of D. Bashikirov, Woskressensky, and F. Rados. She is an active concert pianist. She played with the Debrecen Symphony Orchestra (under the conduction of Imre Kollár), she gave chamber concerts in Munich, and toured Denmark with her own piano ensemble ’Con Fuoco’.
