Taking place monthly from the autumn of 2010, the Colour Extra series presents young musicians who have won Annie Fischer Scholarships for musical performance. Commissioned by the Ministry of Education and provided by Filharmónia Budapest, the scholarship scheme was set up in 2007 in honour of Annie Fischer. The warmly remembered and world-renowned pianist herself helped a great many young artists at the dawn of their careers, and enjoyed undivided praise and popularity both at home and abroad. ...The scholarships are awarded each year to ten talented young musicians by a board of distinguished experts. In the first half of this year, audiences will be invited to hear six of the scholarship winners at a series of four concerts in the Glass Hall. Entry is free.
