By finding creative uses for everyday items, such as towels, scarves, clothes pins, buttons and dice, Zsuzsanna Hegedűsné Tóth gives routine activities like getting dressed, bathing and drying clothes new meaning through songs and sayings. An expert at the ELTE Faculty of Teaching and Childcare, she brings to life Hungary's rich poetry and music while allowing children to discover the world around them through creative activities and, at the same time, satisfying their need for movement. She is ...supported in this adventure by the presence of parents repeating and singing the words, thereby adding a sense of security, heightening the experience and giving the children the courage to participate. The games are followed by collective song, where storytelling instruments will help the children process their experiences and then fall silent in the arms of their parents.
