The Scottish Dance Theatre is Scotland’s national contemporary dance company. The group, led by artistic director Fleur Darkin, is committed to producing excellent and daring performances built around the power of the moving body, and created to stir our thoughts and touch the soul. The group believes in the power of dance to uplift and inspire, tune our sensibilities and enrich lives.
The Scottish Dance Theatre employs only the most imaginative cheorographers, as well as some of the world’s best artists in music and visual effects, to prepare courageous works for outstanding dancers. The dance company has now made a name for itself internationally, embarking on several European tours in recent years, as well as appearing in the United States, China and India. The company is a founder member of RepNet, a network of repertory companies whose members meet and exchange innovative solutions for national dance companies, helping to create an international dance community.

Müpa Budapest provides complementary parking for visitors with paid tickets to any of our public performances on the day of the performance. Free parking in this case is available for a single entry and lasts until Müpa Budapest closes.
