The choreographer-director and winner of the Hungarian Order of Merit Sándor Timár will be 80 years old on October 2nd. To celebrate, the Csillagszemű Dance Ensemble (which means starry eyed!) has arranged this international performance because Sándor Timár’s work as an artist and teacher has made him globally renowned. Besides the host troupe, there will performances from the Hungarian State Folk Ensemble, the Pántlika dance troupe (San Paolo), Odoribe dance ensemble (Tokyo), dancers from Kiy...oto University, the Csárdás dance ensemble (Cleveland), the International Folk Ensemble (Hong-Kong), singers and musicians directed by Béla Halmos, who all began their career in the Master’s workshop. The principal patron this evening is Dalma Mádl, while the host will be Júlia Kudlik
