The performance, which uses the elements of modern dance, Arabic and Jewish folklore, shows that the overwhelming power of human love triumphs over the devastating animosity based on religious and traditional conflicts. The images, scenery and costumes of the dance drama remind us of the spirituality and atmosphere of the Middle East. The music, which is based on traditional Jewish traditions and was composed by Ferenc Jávori alias “Fegya” for the Hungarian Festival Ballet, alternates with authentic Arabic music during the performance.
