Folk and ornamental art flourished, costumes became more colourful and it inspired various ethnic groups to preserve their own dances, music and culture. The first half of the programme presents the folklore treasury of the different nationalities: the traditional customs, virtuosic dances and rich culture of costume and illuminates certain moments from the ballroom. The second half, based on artistic creations from the period, transforms this period into a dance theatre with much humour and film-like scenes, in the belief that the inestimable values of Central-European culture will provide great entertainment.
