The Award for Hungarian Ballet and Contemporary Dance was founded by Philip Morris Hungary Ltd in 1993. An Arts Council is responsible for nominating and awarding the prizes to talented dancers in principal and junior prize categories. The president of the council is ballet artist György Szakály, its members: János Kiss and András Pataki (ballet artists), Judit Schell (actress), Katalin Szemere (professional writer) and Balázs Kovalik (opera director). Previous recipients of the principal prize...: Zoltán Nagy jr, Tamás Juronics, Pál Lovas, Tamás Nagy, Katalin Volf, Krisztina Végh, William Fomin, József Cserta, Aleszja Popova, Katalin Hágai, Andrea Ladányi, Tamás Solymosi, Pál Frenák and Tamás Bakó. Young talents previously awarded the junior prize: Aleszja Popova, Marianna Venekei, Szilvia Major, Ágnes Markovics, Barbara Ströck, Tünde Czebe, Szabina Cserpák, Virág Sóthy, Zoltán Sándor, László Velekei, Korinna Spala, Ildikó Boros and Miklós Dávid Kerényi.

In order to avoid this, we recommend that you depart for our events in time, so that you you can find the ideal parking spot quickly and smoothly and arrive for our performance in comfort. The Müpa Budapest underground garage gates will be operated by an automatic number plate recognition system.
