Wagner in Budapest 2015

The 2015 "Wagner in Budapest" Opera Festival will again feature the world famous The Ring of the Nibelung tetralogy. You will see outstanding Wagner singers, Judit Németh, Tünde Szabóki, Sorin Coliban, Ladislav Elgr, Walter Fink, Christian Franz, Oskar Hillebrandt, Michaela Kaune, Petra Lang, Waltraud Meier, Birgit Remmert, Kurt Rydl, Jürgen Sacher, Egils Silins, Iréne Theorin, Stefan Vinke, Hartmut Welker and Martin Winkler. This is going to be the first time you can enjoy Wagner’s Der fliegende Holländer, directed by Balázs Kovalik, with the title role sung by the perennial James Rutherford, while Elisabet Strid sings Senta and Bernadett Wiedemann plays Mary. The artistic director and conductor of the seven-night festival in 2015, once again, will be Ádám Fischer.
