As a singer, songwriter and bandleader alike, Eszter Váczi constantly reinvents herself, surprises and enchants. Now she presents material from her latest, third album, combined this evening with the best songs from her previous two records, and spiced up with the help of Tunisian oud player Hamdi Makhlouf. As well as being an outstanding master of the Arab lute, Makhlouf is also a singer, composer and musicologist who has long occupied himself with mapping out the possible lines of intersection... between authentic Arab music and jazz. As another special surprise, Váczi will sing several songs in Arabic. Presented by: Palace of Arts
