Müpa Card

The special offers for tickets and season tickets apply only for events produced by the Palace of Arts.

Holders of an Élmény Card are offered the following special services:

• customised information system*
  • general and/or genre-specific e-newsletters
  • information on special offers only for holders of Müpa Cards
  • delivery of Müpa publications by mail if requested by holder of the card
  • preliminary information online, in person, by phone, e-mail or mail
• a priority booking period of two weeks
  • booking by phone, until the end of priority booking period, for 2 persons per performance
  • priority bookings online and in person
    (Priority booking for the MET transmissions is not valid.)
• ticket purchase with 10 % discount for 2 persons per performance
• an extra 5% discount in addition to the discounts available to the general public for Müpa season tickets, for 2 persons – only in person
• an exclusive guided visit to Ludwig Museum for 2 persons, twice a year, on the basis of previous information by the Palace of Arts
• 5% discount for Vince publications in Hungarian and foreign languages at Vince Bookshop
• 10% discount for items listed at Hangfürt CD Shop, on the basis of a list provided by Müpa
• opportunity of pre-booking food and beverages at a 10% discount at the bars on the days of performances*
• 10% discount at Bohém Restaurant any time, on presentation of your card
• a personalised Élmény Card

Holders of an Ínyenc Card are granted all the above special offers and discounts, with the following differences and further advantages:

• ticket purchase with 15 % discount for 2 persons per performance
• information service on performances produced by Müpa by phone available especially for Ínyenc Card holders, all year round
• invitation to a private dress rehearsal or a Müpa Professional Day for 2 persons, twice a year, based on previous information
• invitation to a Müpa production and the reception after for 2 persons
• the name of the card holder is listed as a sponsor at www.mupa.hu as well as in the Events Guide – optional, and can be indicated when purchasing the card
• 5% discount on Müpa gifts sold at Vince Bookshop
• opportunity of pre-booking food and beverages at a 20% discount on the days of performances**
• 20% discount at Bohém Restaurant any time, on presentation of your card
• a personalised Ínyenc Card

Ínyenc Cards are recommended also to companies that

• not only support the Palace of Arts purchasing the card but also
• provide the advantages of Müpa services to their employees.

The various discounts and special offers available to holders of Élmény and Ínyenc Cards cannot be combined with other discount offers.

Ínyenc Cards issued to a company name can be transferred within the company. If a company wishes to purchase a card for a particular employee, the card can also be issued to the employee’s name.

*The selected options can be marked on the data sheet during registration and can be changed if wished later on.

**You can make pre-bookings at the downstairs bar, at the counter to the right of the main entrance, next to the escalator. Pre-bookings can be made one hour before the performance at the earliest and are confirmed by a receipt. During the interval, on presentation of your receipt, you will be served the prepared food and beverages on the bar tables outside Bohém Restaurant. The staff of the catering firm will help guests with orientation.

• Müpa Cards can be purchased online or at the ticket office located at the Palace of Arts, between 10am and 6pm every day or until the end of the last performance on performance days, from 14th March 2010. (+36-1-555-3300).
• The cards are valid for one year from the day of purchase.
• One month before the expiration of the card, the holder will receive an automatic reminder. If you wish to continue enjoying the benefits of Müpa membership, please indicate so before your card expires.
• Élmény Card costs HUF 14,000 for one year.
• Ínyenc Card costs HUF 100,000 for one year.
• If your card is lost or stolen, you can have it cancelled in person or by phone. On the basis of your data registered earlier, you can apply for a new card with a new card number. You will be charged HUF 2,000 for the new card. A card lost or stolen can be cancelled by calling the phone number found in your personal information leaflet between 10am and 6pm on weekdays or by calling +36-1-555-3001 in the evenings or at weekends.
• Valid cards cannot be refunded or exchanged.
• One person can apply for more than one card.

In the case of online application, you can purchase your card after registering at www.mupa.hu followed by a confirmation. Payments can be made by debit or credit cards. On completion of the purchase, the customer receives an online confirmation with the number of their Müpa Card included so that the discounts and special offers can be used thereafter. Müpa Cards can be collected in person from the ticket office at the Palace of Arts during the opening hours (see above).

Application for a card in person can be made only at the ticket office of the Palace of Arts. Also in this case there is a registration form to fill in, the authenticity of which is verified by the customer’s signature at the completion of the purchase. If the customer decides to use the special offers available online later on, they can also register online.

Please contact the staff of the ticket office if you wish to purchase a card for a company.
Holiday or other vouchers are not accepted for the purchase of Müpa cards.

The Palace of Arts requests future Club Members to give only their data absolutely necessary to ensure the smooth provision of services. These are your or your company’s:

• name
• address / headquarters
• date of birth, in the case of a private person
• phone number
• e-mail address
• password necessary for online registration

The data provided during the registration are treated confidentially by the Palace of Arts and will not be made accessible for any third party in any way.
The data provided by the Palace of Arts during the registration will be used exclusively for the following purposes, to the extent indicated in the registration:

• delivery of information leaflets related to Müpa Cards, discounts and events,
• information by mail, e-mail or phone
• statistical compilations and research helping the operation of the Palace of Arts.

At the request of the person registered, the Palace of Arts will provide information at any time on the the management of their data or make amendments, supplements or cancellations therein.
