The Palace of Arts offers free guided tours to visitors in a number of languages, including Hungarian, English, German. These tours are led by members of the building's information staff, who introduce interesting aspects of the building's architectural design, the concert hall's unique acoustic properties and organ and the technical features of the Festival Theatre, as well as providing brief information on the operation of the venue and upcoming events. It is also possible to take tours of permanent exhibitions at the Ludwig Museum.
Guided tours of the building are offered to groups by prior appointment. We also accept requests from individuals, provided that a tour is already taking place at the given time. Tours of the building are offered free of charge.
The timing of tours is dependent on the performances and rehearsals taking place in the various halls. Our staff make every effort to identify times that allow groups to explore the building undisturbed.
